This isn’t challenging to accept or know, but to practice it in real time? Fuggetaboutit ๐Ÿ˜… To stand in my authentic self when being invited to moments I’d rather avoid? Challenged. To hold space and empathy for someone I believe is bringing unnecessary discomfort into my life? Challenged. To truly love all my neighbors while seeing and hearing how differently they choose? Challenged.

What am I committed to?
Committed to being right and making them wrong or to being peaceful and accepting? Committed to loving everyone as they are or committed to protecting myself from things I don’t understand? Convincing everyone of something or holding space for others to be themselves with me?

I am committed to a peaceful life.
Knowing that,
believing that,
and getting excited about that
immediately lifts me up to make the choices that support my peaceful life. Choosing from the space of peace makes it really easy to see simple differences where I used to see “wrong”.
